Day pass fair use

Day passes give you a set amount of full-speed data every day, then keep you connected at a slower speed until the next day. Here is how that works.

Effective October 4, 2026

How a day pass works

Each day you get the full-speed allowance shown for your pass, for example 3 GB. After you use it, you stay connected at the slower speed shown, for example 1 Mbps, for the rest of that day. Unused full-speed data doesn’t carry over to the next day.

When your allowance resets

Depending on the local network, your allowance resets either at midnight local time or every 24 hours from when your pass started.

How long it lasts

Your pass runs for the number of days you choose, counted from its first network connection in a covered country. Start using it within the unused-plan period shown in its plan details.

What the slower speed is good for

At 1 Mbps, messaging, maps, email, music and browsing work well. Video plays at lower quality, and large downloads and video calls may be slow.

Hotspot and devices

Hotspot is included. You can use your full allowance every day and share it with your own devices, such as a laptop or tablet, through your phone’s hotspot. Neither one on its own leads to your pass being suspended or its price changing. Day passes are for phones and tablets used while travelling, not for routers, dongles or other always-on devices.

What isn’t allowed

A pass used in any of these ways, or otherwise misused, may be suspended. If that happens to you, contact us at support@battuvo.com and we’ll help.

Refunds

A day pass you haven’t installed can be refunded as described in our refund policy.
